In 2021, Cezar’s Projects partnered with Chibli, a local hero committed to revitalizing his family’s traditional lifestyle and raising environmental consciousness in Maaser El Shouf village. Together, we launched the Maaser Donkey Farm project, providing an immersive rural farm experience.

Our project aims to offer visitors the chance to actively participate in eco-friendly farming practices, such as milking goats, interacting with and feeding a diverse range of farm animals, and distilling freshly picked herbs. Moreover, guests have the opportunity to accompany our friendly donkeys on a scenic walk through the agricultural fields, followed by a moment of relaxation in the oak tree house.

The Maaser Donkey Farm project not only involves local farmers but also creates various socially sustainable opportunities for the community, ensuring a positive impact on the region’s development.

Having a deep passion for cooking and a lovely welcoming demeanor, Lamia was looking for ways to create value in the midst of a financial crisis.

That’s when the idea dawned on her: A guesthouse where she can leverage her love for people as well as hone her passion for cooking by teaching the art of rural cuisine to her guests, using wild herbs and other natural ingredients and showing them how to incorporate them into their meals to create a truly unique and flavorful experience for guests from all over the globe.

All products are then tested, packaged and labeled by our certified dietitian at Nutreat Clinic.

One of our most recently launched projects in partnership with AMURT Lebanon and the Barouk-Freidis Municipality was the Community Kitchen, a project aimed at benefiting the locals by inviting them to benefit from the advanced machines and cooking facilities in order for them to create whatever delicacies and meals they would like, at a lower cost.
It will be a great opportunity for learning, sharing experiences and developing skills that will in return, help improve food safety measures as well as effectively benefiting from the agricultural resources in the region in order to enhance the production of the local rural products.
